Transoft/ASNA System i European Survey Results: February 2010

Transoft and ASNA undertook a joint survey at the end of last year to analyze the level of interest in integration and modernization within the European System i community.

The survey was conducted in the UK, Germany, Italy and Spain. We were delighted to receive 123 responses - thank you to all those who took part.

  • 66% are concerned about not being able to integrate System i with new technologies.

  • 53% are concerned about the availability of System i technical resources.

  • 60% are concerned about the cost and time of programming changes on System i.

  • 52% are concerned about how long the System i platform will continue.
