Stewart McMillan, president of Task Force Tips, a world leader in the manufacturing of fire suppression equipment, attended an Acucorp conference seeking a way to extend the life and value of his company's COBOL programming assets. When he saw what Transoft could do to liberate the legacy data stored in TFT's COBOL database he wrote a purchase order on the back of a business card! Since then TFT has used Transoft U/SQL middleware to make its entire database of product specifications available to customers via the internet.
