Barcelona, June 13, 2011. With its re-acquisition of the company from BluePhoenix at the end of 2010, ASNA has taken steps to extend its coverage in Europe, and particularly in the UK and Ireland.
Firstly, Jonathan Greenstreet has joined ASNA in a technical and sales support position bolstering coverage in all English speaking areas including the UK, Ireland, Iceland, Netherlands and Scandinavian countries. He has impressive knowledge of ASNA products and .NET development. Jonathan is also an experienced ASNA Monarch user and will play an important part in IBM i modernisation projects using ASNA Wings and ASNA Monarch. Jonathan will work closely with Tim Jannsen who will continue as European Technical Director.
Secondly, ASNA was keen to raise the bar on sales and support for its existing customers and new prospects in the UK and Ireland. To this end, ASNA has concluded an agreement to partner with Transoft, the modernization and migration experts, to work closely with Jonathan Greenstreet and represent ASNA sales activity in this region. Following many years working together with ASNA and its products, including ASNA Monarch for IBM i migration, Transoft was the obvious choice.
Transoft provides integration, migration and modernization software and services for both IBM and non-IBM platforms, and is part of the IRIS Software Group. IRIS is a substantial IBM i ISV with its Chorus ERP and Accounting software and Talent Ticketing applications, with some 600 IBM i customers in the UK.
