Transoft Announces IBM iSeries (System i5) to Microsoft .NET Modernisation
Path.
5 March 2007 - Transoft, a leader in helping
companies evolve their existing legacy applications,
announced today its partnership with SYKORA-ML GmbH to
distribute ML-iMPACT in the United Kingdom and North
America. ML-iMPACT provides an automated conversion from
IBM iSeries and System i RPG applications to Microsoft
.NET.
Driven by a lack of skilled resources, reduced cost of
ownership and platform standardisation, many iSeries
users are investigating the options available to take
their RPG applications to a more standard architecture.
Transoft has over 20 years' experience in
providing legacy modernisation solutions. Its proven
methodology coupled with a wide variety of modernisation
products has allowed Transoft to address the
evolution of multiple legacy platforms and applications.
ML-iMPACT is the result of a progressive development of
iSeries modernisation tools by German company SYKORA-ML.
With several successful conversions completed in Europe,
ML-iMPACT provides an automated means of converting RPG
and CL code to C# and DB2/400 data to Microsoft SQL
Server.
