Transoft launches evolveIT for ICL VME to provide application understanding and Business Rules Mining

11 November 2004 - Transoft, a leader in enabling organisations to evolve new IT solutions from their legacy applications, has released an ICL VME version of its proven application mining toolset, Transoft evolveIT. Transoft evolveIT automates the understanding of legacy applications so that ICL mainframe users can reduce the cost of maintaining and enhancing their applications, improve application development project planning, reduce risk and increase productivity. For example, such applications typically contain complex code developed over several decades, with as much as a quarter of this being 'dead' code, the maintenance of which wastes time and money. Transoft evolveIT identifies and lists all such unreferenced code, making its elimination very straightforward.

The ICL VME version is based on the Transoft evolveIT product that is already used by organisations around the world, such as New Zealand Inland Revenue, on IBM and Unisys mainframe applications.
