Virtual
Communications Inc. Chooses Transoft As Integration Partner
Goal is to Combine Core Banking Applications with the
Latest Internet Technology
April 17, 2002 - Transoft, Inc., a leading application
transformation company, announced today a partnership
agreement with Virtual Communications, Inc. (VCOM) to
provide its Transoft Screen Component Adapters to VCOM's
Internet banking applications as a preferred strategy
for integration. VCOM provides Internet based software
products for banks and businesses.
Transoft Screen Component Adapters provide a fast-to-implement,
non-intrusive means of integrating VCOM's Internet banking
applications with back end core banking applications via
a method of component-based services. This solution provides
all the advantages of component architectures, including
performance and scalability, without the disadvantages
of other integration strategies.
As a result of this offering, core banking application
screens are transformed into re-usable Web or application
services that can be integrated into new applications
- such as those produced by VCOM.
"We are pleased to offer Transoft Screen Component
Adapter as a tool for integration with core banking systems",
said Ashok Dhar, President and CEO of VCOM. "Transoft's
middleware will allow VCOM to quickly and cost effectively
deploy its award winning Internet banking software without
compromising on functionality and security."
Added Dhar: "We are excited about our business partnership
which should result in significant business opportunities
for the two companies, as well as cost savings for our
Internet banking customers."
"We are delighted to help VCOM develop into an even
stronger e-banking player thanks to our joint integrated
solution offering," said Paul Holland, CEO of Transoft.
"Our intelligent middleware adapters are the missing
link between cutting-edge technology firms like VCOM and
the back end Core Banking Applications in the banking
world."
