Wins Second Award in Deloitte & Touche Technology
Fast 50 Programme

23, 2001 - Transoft, a 15-year old Slough-based international
provider of application assembly, transformation and integration
solutions, has once again won a place in this year's Deloitte
and Touche Technology Fast 50 Awards Programme for the
London and South East region - a ranking of the fastest
growing technology companies in the region. Nicholas Witchell,
the BBC's Diplomatic Correspondent, presented the awards,
which took place on Tuesday 20th November at the Hilton
London Metropole Hotel. This year, Transoft were placed
36th in this region's rankings and this follows its success
in 1998, when it was placed 29th.
"Their return demonstrates that they have the essential
ingredients for resilience in the UK economic downturn
- good business management combined with a focus on the
quality of their sales process, product differentiation
and good people", said William Touche, Chairman of
the Technology Fast 50.
Receiving the award, Transoft Chairman Mike Edwards paid
tribute to his staff, "It is the hard work of everybody
at Transoft that has enabled us to retain our position
as one of the 50 fastest growing technology companies
in London and the South East". Looking forward he
added, "We are also well placed for significant growth
in 2002 because we are building on the success of our
Intelligent Adapter middleware products to provide a broader
range of application assembly, transformation and integration
solutions that meet modern e-business and IT needs".
The Technology Fast 50 programme seeks out those companies
that have shown impressive growth in the telecommunications,
hardware, software and biotechnology markets. All companies
must be technology intensive or use unique technology
in problem solving, or devote a high percentage of effort
to research and development.
