Computer Software Group completes acquisition of Transoft

1 September 2007 - Computer Software Group plc (“CS Group”) today announced that it has acquired Transoft Group Limited (“Transoft”) to strengthen its Managed Service capability and expand its market coverage to the US.

Transoft provides application modernisation, integration and migration solutions to customers worldwide from its offices in the UK and US. Its specialist products and services have enabled thousands of companies to adopt the latest technologies as part of the development lifecycle of their existing applications. Customers include The Gap, Boeing, Tetra Pak, NAPA Auto Parts and L'Oreal.

CS Group’s broad solutions portfolio coupled with Transoft’s global customer reach, will allow CS Group to capitalise on the new market opportunities for business solutions and managed services.

Transoft will join the Business Solutions division to strengthen its Managed Service offering. The Business Solutions division has evolved from providing ticketing, ebusiness, CRM and ERP software, to offering a complete and integrated solution suite that can be purchased, rented on application on demand basis or supported as a managed service.
