Transoft Offers HP e3000 Application Migration Solution through Ecometry Partner Program

Atlanta – December 13 th 2004 – Transoft, a leader in enabling organizations to evolve new solutions from existing applications, announced today that it has joined the Ecometry Alliance Network (EAN) and now offers clients the ability to migrate applications developed alongside Ecometry Commerce Suite (TM) running on the HP e3000 platform to Windows or UNIX. Transoft was invited to join EAN because of its leading position in providing application migration solutions for HP e3000 users, and the benefits clients will receive as a result of the alliance.

According to Dave Roth, Transoft’s VP of Business Development, joining EAN offers Transoft the opportunity to help Ecometry’s clients move the applications they have developed around the Ecometry Commerce Suite as they plan to move to the new Open Systems versions of the Ecometry software.

“Many Ecometry clients have developed their own customized applications to work along side Ecometry’s software. With the phasing out of the HP e3000, firms are looking at how they can move these ‘surround code’ applications to work with the new version of Ecometry Commerce Suite running on Windows or UNIX.
