 South Yorkshire Police
Improves fleet management with Tranman and Transoft.

Yorkshire Police is made up of 3,000 uniformed staff,
plus more than 1,500 civilian staff. As part of its day-to-day
working the force has some 650 vehicles which generate
a large volume of data that must be closely monitored.
South Yorkshire Police requires an efficient fleet management
system to enable it to cope proficiently with the level
of information produced, and for the past eight years
it has been using a system from Tranman Solutions.
South Yorkshire Police approached Tranman for an enhanced
system that could be relied upon for the foreseeable future
and that would allow greater access to stored information.
Tranman wanted to modernize and improve the look and feel
of their products and sought out Transoft to help them
provide a product that could export, manipulate and interrogate
data to produce reports in a very user-friendly format.
