specializing in products for country living. Mailing over
20 million catalogues a year, and with an established
base of over 1 million customers, its computer systems
are critical to the company's success and growth. To meet
its specific needs Plow & Hearth had invested more
than $500,000, over a period of 13 years, developing a
DG MV-based system in AOS/VS COBOL. But one Christmas
they realised the MV9600 didn't have the capacity to cope
with their busiest season. Plow & Hearth turned to
Transoft to ensure the necessarily rapid migration.
