OMD Corporation is the developer of Vision, a well-established
business application that helps more than 3,000 office
equipment dealers and distributors manage sales, customer
service and financial processes. Faced with industrial-strength
demands for scalability and an aggressive development
cycle, OMD selected Transoft Component Adapters to link
Active Server Pages with COBOL application logic. This
created a new order entry and service request Web application
called iManager that dealers host on their own Web sites.
IManager has already proven to be a win/win/win solution
for OMD, its dealers customers and the dealer's corporate
accounts.
