 Bulmers,
the largest cider company in the world, had invested £10
million in replacing its proprietary DG MV40-based IT
system and INFOS database management system with open
systems DG AViiON and Oracle. But two critical applications
remained on the MV because they used many INFOS specific
functions that were difficult to redevelop.
